God, love, Hell, evil, Creation, Lucifer, angels, devils, King James Bible, evil spirits, demons, Jesus as Lord and Savior are just among a few of the topics included in this new book by Len R. Thies. The author presents them from a Biblical point of view regarding their importance and significance regarding the Bible Creation Model.
Are you sure you know the answer to the title of this book? If you don't, the answer may surprise you! Many people believe God is responsible for all the evil in the world. Is He? Did you know, according to 2 Peter 3:1-10, we currently live in the second world which has existed on planet Earth? In this fundamental and historical approach to the creation story, the author takes you on a journey through the Bible, searching for the answers to these questions and more wherever they may be found.
The author also tackles the tough questions as to the origin of devils or demons, the identity of the "sons of God" and the fall of Lucifer. He also clears the air on such things as the "rest" of God, the "war in heaven" and the snake in the Garden of Eden. You may not always agree with his conclusions but you will be challenged by the Bible information and logical conclusions he presents as evidence.
Note from the author: The Bible says that “God is love”. A famous man in the sciences came to the conclusion late in life there was a God. However, this man could not believe in a God of love because he saw the sad effects of filth, starvation and war everywhere on young and old alike. He thought, “If God was a God of love, He would not allow such things to happen to his creation”! Many Bible scholars agree with this man because they, too, are confused about God’s love, His justice and the curse on this world.
When I was young I had two cousins killed in tragic accidents at a very young age. The ministers, probably out of ignorance, told the congregation at both of the funerals that there was a good reason God had taken them home. It was just up to us to discover what it was! I’ve never found the reason for them “being called home by God” but I have found the reason why they met with a tragic death so early in life. It was not God calling them home but, based on the Bible evidence, the work of the Devil or demons, an incorrect personal decision or an accident in a world cursed by God due to the disobedience of our first parents.
I have discovered from the His Word that God is a good God and He wants nothing but the best for us. Think of it, “What good would it do God to “call someone home” if the very reason for them being here on the earth was to work for His Kingdom? We are here for a reason, to love God, to tell people about Jesus and His salvation message and to do the work of His kingdom. This is impossible unless we are still on the earth. My book looks into these issues as well as many others and attempts to explain God’s answer as to the character of the world in which we live. The Bible is where we find the answers because it is the Mind of the Creator in written form.
About The Author
Len R. Thies has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education but has been in private business for most all of his professional career. While attending a Layman’s Seminar at Oral Roberts University in 1977, God revealed to him the true nature of His love. As a result of this experience, Len has spent countless hours in a personal study of the Word of God and teaching others with an emphasis on Creation. He has taken several practical courses offered by his home church and earned diplomas from ORU for two special “hands-on” courses in the Ministry gifts. He is also an ordained minister of the Gospel. This book is his first public step toward his goal of reaching people for God and explaining how the Bible Creation Model reveals God’s love for mankind.

Len Thies and his wife Connie have been members and dedicated workers of the church I pastor since the mid 1980’s. Len received Jesus as his savior at a young age and has been, as you will see, a student of the Word of God for many years.
My hat is off to him for the time and effort placed into the study, gathering of information and assembly of this book on creation. You will be taught and challenged as you read Len’s scriptural insight into the probing questions of life, where did we come from, why are we here and where do we belong in God’s plan for the ages?
