About The Author

Growing up in Michigan, Sallt Stout explored the fields and woods of her family's farm and spent a great deal of time in the forests of Middle Earth and Narnia. She has taught English as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Kingdom of Tonga and in high school and college classrooms. She and her husband weave and bird watch in Frankfort, Michigan. This is her first novel.
