This is not your typical blah, blah, blah parenting book. You don't have to be a parent, parent-to-be, grandparent, godparent, foster parent or parental anything to read this book. We all know at least one mommy or daddy who deserves a "time out" for the avoidable mess that his/her clueless parenting has made. A mess that every man, woman, boy and girl has to put up with or stay away from for our own safety, peace of mind, and well being. We may never say anything about the nasty thing that talks back, disrupts the peace or breaks rules, but boy, are we thinking it! Unless, of course, you are that troublemaker's parent.

About The Author

Bridget Lambright has over a decade of experience in sharing empowering tools with adults and children. She is a high school English Department Chairperson, adjunct professor, professional development facilitator, motivational speaker, and volunteer mentor. Bridget is living proof of the critical role that parents play in equipping their offspring with the ambition, willpower, and skills needed to triumph over seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Ms. Lambright picked herself up from being an unemployed, emotionally shattered welfare recipient and college dropout to become a passionate educator and advocate. While on her journey towards rebuilding her life, Bridget's teacher education courses inspired her to pay close attention to parents' actions. She chronicled some detrimental behaviors that were common among parents along with their kids' responses.

Reviews

Wow! This book gets straight to the point and challenges parents to reflect on the impact of their insignificant to outrageous behaviors. The bonus short stories and activities are powerful.

Deonte' Tarver from cleveland , OH
Ms. Lambright is my tenth grade English teacher. She has a high goal setting agenda for each and every one of her students. With her profound teaching tactic, she has devoted herself toward preparing her students for college. her presence sets an example of professionalism of many; in addition, she creates a foundation that replaces the lack in support for those who don't have caring parents. No one could ask for a better teacher.
Kerrie Goldsby from Cleveland , OH
