The Understanding Marriage program takes marriage apart to reveal what successful couples do to keep love alive.
Partnering: They build a common vision, learn how to successfully communicate in a range of ways, they continually improve their partnering skills, and they stay committed.
Friendship and Love: They know each other’s love buttons, discover how to date, create great anniversaries and learn the art of romancing.
And behind it all there’s deep respect, the aspiration to continually improve, and the desire to fulfil each other’s relationship needs.
The program itself is filled with exercises that allow couples to learn together, making the educational experience more enjoyable and personal. Singles and couples might read the program alone but it can also be used in group or class settings - as a marriage and relationship 101 college course, as a training program for family professionals, and also as a marital enrichment or marriage preparation course in faith based environments.
