Reviews
"When the question arises, "What makes Troy State University so special?" one can do no better than point to CHASE and say, "Herein lies the answer." This book is more than the biography of a remarkable athlete, coach, teacher, and friend and family man, it is also a biographical sketch of an outstanding university that began as a state Normal School, developing into Troy State Teachers College, and, eventually becoming Troy State University." Jack Payne Solomon, folklorist and author.
