This is the story of a little boy who eventually grows up to have a child of his own. Throughout the book he aspires to be an astronaut, a baseball player, and sail around the world. Each time he asks his mother what will happen if his dreams tak him far away she assures him, "I loved you yesterday. I love you today, and I will love you on all your tomorrows." This is the touching story of a mother and son relationship that changes over time, but ultimately a mother's love never changes.
