About The Author
Richard Townsend is a sixteenth generation American and a thrid generation Californian. He was in the Navy during World War II. After the war he attended and graduated from San Jose State Univerisity with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. In his early years he worked in the California oil fields and in construction in Alaska. After college, he pursued a career as a data processing consultant with a large computer manufacturer.
