About The Author

Joyce is actively involved with the training and development of the ushers serving the Tabernacle of Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church in Indianapolis…a place she has called home since 1999. Currently, Joyce serves as head usher for her church. Her strong Christian values prepared her to grow and develop the department in which she serves. Joyce sincerely believes that the Holy Spirit inspired her to put into print these “guidelines” for church ushers everywhere. Her heart’s desire is to bring souls to Christ because she feels that we need to be loving and kind to God’s people.

Reviews

"It not only outlines duties and responsibilities of usher, but she has also incorporated the “small” things that ushers must do to make church services more meaningful to members as well as visitors." - Jerome L. Davis, Ministerial Director of Lake Region Conference of Seventh-day Adventists
