Every Day God Sends encompasses the crumbling life of Faith Clarke. At an early age Faith, experiences racism, a debatable rape, molestation, and controversy surrounding the death of her father. Running from a troubled life, Faith tells herself that she hates all men. She buries herself in school and basketball, the perfect places to escape having a relationship with a man. Nevertheless, her heart wants love and affection, but her anger leaves her in misery. Travel through the journal of Faith Clarke, a young coming of age black girl in the late 1950s and 1960s. Step into a life filled with dark secrets, and a love that crosses the bounds of time.
The misfortune, injustices, an affair, and marriage to her young handsome teacher lands her on a journey, by way of California to understand what her mother meant when she said Every Day God Sends.
About The Author
Carolyn Kit Johnson was born in Douglas, GA, and attended Carver High and Elementary School. After integration of the schools, she attended Coffee County High School for a few months. The pressure of ostracism and racism forced her to move from Douglas.
Returning home to the same situation as before, to fill a quota Johnson was selected into the LPN program and graduated in 1972. Once she received her nursing license, she worked at Coffee County Hospital for a few months; again, racism forced her from her job.
Johnson married Artis Robinson, a native of Douglas. He enlisted into the United States Armed Forces, where they spent the next twenty years traveling abroad as well as stateside. She is the mother of three and grandmother of fourteen. Robinson worked full time, raised her kids, and completed her associate degree in Behavioral Science. She continued to pursue her education with a concentration of entering into law school when an unexpected illness forced her to quit school and work. Determined to finish school, Robinson returned to school and completed an associate degree in nursing. She is currently in school working on a master’s degree in informatics.
She is listed in the 2000 American Notable Women, and the 2000 Who’s Who CD-Rom. Reading, writing poetry, and decorating are her favorite hobbies.
Robinson lives in Atlanta, GA, and works as a nursing supervisor. Carolyn Kit Johnson is working on her second novel.

Wonderful
I loved reading this book. I could relate to the characters and the setting. Faith is a courageous person. I can't wait for the sequel.

Great New Author
I loved the setting. The contents reminded me somewhat of my childhood. As I read the book, I could actually envision each event occurring as if I was there. The characters were very colorful, yet the book depicted life as it was during that time period. I am waiting for a sequel!
■This book is very good, I finished it in one day, I couldn't put it down, I laughed, cried, and laughed some more. Hope to see this on the Best Seller List. I really enjoyed the love story. It was fanstatic! Once again Terrific Book! Thanks for bring Rat Row back to life!
