About The Author
Author Herman Slater founded the legendary Warlock Shoppe in Brooklyn Heights New York, USA over 30 years ago, which was then reborn as the world-famous: Magickal Childe - a world-wide source of magick books, exotic supplies, and home base for three witch Covens and exceptional tarot and spiritual readers. Mr. Slater known worldwide is mostly responsible for popularizing the Wiccan tradition - previously known only throughout England - in the United States, and he was editor of more than ten Magick reference books. Regarding other books by Mr. Slater - it is said that he discovered the famous manuscript "necronomicon" when a mysterious monk delivered the manuscript to Herman's store, then called the Warlock Shop. A lot of people believe this to be the actual necronomicon.

I love this Book!, July 25, 2004 Reviewer: Lord Love Magickal Formualry Spellbook Book II and my MAGICKAL FORMULARY SPELLBOOK I are the best books in my entire magick book collection. Book II is so useful I use it everyday. Everyone of my brothers and sister friends want their own copy of BOOK II - but its almost impossible to find - and I hate to loan my copies out - to me its a karma thing to keep my bibles sacred and private. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any book by Herman Slater. In fact, Slater's Book I and Book II makes the classic grimoires pale to insignificance in terms of practicality! It took me 6 months of searching to locate a used copy of the Spellbook Companion Book II. This is one occult title that will be worth your while to look for.
