About The Author

Jim & Kathy have been married for 40 years and have 3 daughters, Lori who is married to Brian; Wendi who is married to Ed; and Erin who is married to Chad. Their tenth grandchild is expected to arrive in January, 2010. During the summer of 1993, after Lori's first year of teaching, she and Kathy developed a class for young girls called "The Young Lady in Me". The purpose was to encourage consideration for others through practiced good manners and to reinforce Biblical principles parents desire for their children. Classes have continued through the years with requests to include boys and to put the material in a book."SONshine in Your Child" became a reality from those requests and we pray it will be an encouragement for families to know more of God's love shown through the Life of His Son.
