Poor Moses. His classmates are horrible to him. They think he's weird because he can't speak a word. Plus, the downright greediest man in the whole world is stealing his only friends, a pet calf named Rita Too and 10 little pigs! Deciding to use the mysterious gift he possesses of talking to animals, Moses recruits Reddy, the pesky piglet, Rhode Island Red, a love-starved rooster, Dishwater, the hissing cat, and two stubborn, kick-crazy mules to create a daring rescue plan. But things go wrong! And if Moses is found to blame, his secret power will not only be exposed, he will become a permanent outcast! And his family will be ruined! Can Moses pull off a miracle? The odds are against him and time is running out!

About The Author

John Rester Zodrow has written All Out, his highly controversial and award-winning stage play, originally written for tv (nominated by Writers Guild for Outstanding Script in the category of Anthology written originally for Television); a 2 hour ABC Western comedy Kate Bliss and the Ticker Tape Kid and for NBC Man Against the Mob (which won an Edgar) and its sequel Man in Cement. (All Out is available through Dramatic Publishing for performance in high schools, colleges and commercial theaters.) In addition to award-winning documentaries which he wrote and directed, his theatrical films include The Ultimate Thrill; The Hunter, starring Steve McQueen; and Sun Drops, a Japanese film starring Toshiro Mifune, edited by Akira Kurosawa. Zodrow has opened on Broadway at the Minskoff Theater and is the author of four novels: Bright Green Hell, In the Name of the Father (a bestseller), Vatican Gold and Sins of War. Recently, JRZ wrote, produced and directed the Indy film Big Guns, a hilarious comedy about a group of senior softball players stumbling badly while trying to win their World Series and discovering in the process that winning is not as important as keeping your friends. The film has been distributed worldwide, is rentable on Netflix and also available for purchase at www. biggunsthemovie.com.

Reviews

Mr.Zodrow's vivid prose brings alive this magical tale of a handicapped boy who can't speak but is able to talk with animals. With delightful twists and turns, Zodrow's book reveals to the reader that honesty, compassion, and perseverance will win the day over greed and cruelty. Bravo.
