About The Author

In 2004 Noa Jones promised her niece a special birthday gift. It would come to fruition years later with the advent of a book series featuring a young, spirited heroine in the tradition of Beverly Cleary's fictional character, Ramona Quimby. Delighted by Cleary's books as a child, Jones dreamed of creating a world that celebrated the joys of growing up as an African American child in a stimulating suburban environment. She picked up her pen and birthed Patsy James, young dynamo extraordinaire. Five years after her now infamous promise, it is with great pleasure that Noa Jones announces the release of Big Kid, Big Shot Summer-book one of The Incorrigible Patsy James series. Noa Jones is an author, life coach and motivational speaker. She is a graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and currently lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband and two-year old daughter.
